قواعد نوشتن با حروف بزرگ

There are many times when a word or words must be capitalized.  Here are ten capitalization rules you should know and use.  An example is shown for each rule.

تعدادی زمان وجود دارند هنگامی که یک کلمه یا کلمات بایستی با حروف بزرگ نوشته شوند . در اینجا ده قاعده نوشتن با حروف بزرگ وجود دارند که شما باید بدانید و استفاده کنید . و یک مثال برای هر قاعده ارائه داده شده است .  

  • Capitalize the first word of a sentence.  

با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اولین کلمه یک جمله.

It is important to know when a word must be capitalized.

  • Capitalize the pronoun “I.”

Do you think I should study for another hour?

  • Capitalize proper nouns (names of specific people, places, events, and organizations).

با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اسم های خاص ( اسم های مردم , مکان ها , حادثه ها , و سازمان های خاص ).

I believe that George Washington was our greatest president.

  • Capitalize days of the week, holidays, and months of the year.

با حروف بزرگ نوشتن روزهای هفته , تعطیلات , و ماه های سال .

We usually go on vacation during July and August.

  • Capitalize the first word in a quote.

با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اولین کلمه در یک علامت نقل قول . 

I was pleased when my teacher said to me, “You are a wonderful student.”

  • Capitalize the name of a language.

    با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اسم یک زبان .

  • Next year I will study Spanish literature.

  • Capitalize the official title of a person when used with that person’s name.

    با حروف بزرگ نوشتن عنوان رسمی یک شخص زمانیکه با نام آن شخص استفاده می شود .

  • My friend told me that Dr. Hawkins is a great chemistry teacher.

  • Capitalize initials in someone’s name.

    با حروف بزرگ نوشتن نخستین حروف نام و نام خانوادگی یک شخص .

  • My favorite author is J. R. R. Tolkien.

  • Capitalize the first word of a salutation or closing.

    با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اولین کلمه یک درود و سلام یا پایان (یک نوشته) .

  • Capitalize the first word and last words and each important word in the title of a book, movie, etc. Do not capitalize little words within a title (e.g.,a, an, and. as, if, for, or, the). Also, do not capitalize prepositions.

    با حروف بزرگ نوشتن اولین کلمه و آخرین کلمات و هر کلمه مهم در عنوان یک کتاب , فیلم , غیره . کلمات کوچک در داخل یک عنوان را با حرف بزرگ ننویسید .( برای مثال , a , an , and , as , if , for , or , the ). همچنین , حروف اضافه را با حرف بزرگ ننویسید .

  • I was very moved when I read To Kill a Mockingbird.

There are many capitalization rules.  Knowing and using these ten rules is a good start.

در اینجا تعداد زیادی قواعد نوشتن با حروف بزرگ وجود دارند . دانستن واستفاده ی این ده قاعده شروع خوبی است .
